How do you pronounce Snoezelen®?

Snoezelen is most commonly pronounced SNOO-ze-len: the first syllable rhymes with the word zoo, followed by a soft, unstressed middle and a gentle ending. You will also hear it said SNOOZ-len in everyday English use.

The word comes from Dutch, so pronunciation varies a little by speaker and region, and there is no single correct English version. What matters more than the exact sound is understanding what it describes: a controlled multi-sensory environment for relaxation and gentle exploration.
